WHY ATTITUDE SYSTEMS

Attitude Systems was born out of the need to  look at environmental problems different.

ATTITUDE is an orientation in space

In other words we look at environmental problems with a different ATTITUDE or from different oreintations.

By examining and analyzing environmental issues from diverse and unique perspectives, we can cultivate innovative and effective solutions that promote sustainability and preserve our planet’s precious resources.

Continual Design and product development

In 1994 we developed the ASWDS

The Automatic Stormwater Diversion System was a marked improvement over technology at that time. It integrated automation and state-of-the-art sensor technology, replacing the high-maintenance mechanical designs of the time.

The original systems design was RELAY LOGIC; today’s model of the same system utilizes a solid-state PLC.

In 2004, we developed the industry’s first underground utility vault dewatering filter or sock with Southern California Edison and San Diego Gas & Electric. Today’s version has evolved into an automatic filtered sump pump that meets the tough regulations for dewatering in California and elsewhere around the country, using solidifying polymers to shut the system off should oil become present in the vault water.

2005: We invented the CURBScreens made of recycled plastic. This device keeps trash from the street out of the storm drains, using recycled milk jugs as the primary raw material, assembled with plastic nails and staples.

In 2006, we worked with Aqualytical to produce a passive water quality monitoring tool called “The Tattle Tale.” This tool aids customers in identifying troubled water quality sites simply and inexpensively.

2007 was an exciting year as the C.L.A.M. (Continuous Low-level Aquatic Monitoring) system began development as one of the truly game-changing analytical tools of our time.

2008 saw us begin standards development and ASWDS implementation in the wine industry.

In 2009, we built upon our relationship with the utility industry by beginning to develop and improve standards for the basic dewatering process we started in 2004. This led to the creation of EVAC, the next generation filter sock. The EVAC provides better filtration at a faster rate and features an indication system to ensure it meets customer specifications.

2009 brought us the opportunity to work closer with other industry professionals and we merged our technologies to become Trident Solutions.

2010 – Just a short 12 months later, we expanded our reach worldwide by merging once again and becoming C.I. Agent Stormwater Solutions.

2010 also allowed us to showcase our strengths as we were requested by BP and the State of Alabama to assist in the Deepwater Horizon spill cleanup on Dolphin Island, Alabama, protecting sea turtles and migratory birds.

2015 again it was the time to change as the industry and company were growing. A focus was needed to get us back to the industry. It is with this new focus and intensity that Attitude Systems is developing a whole new generation of environmental technologies and solutions.

In 2016, we started the X-Tractor series of automatic dewatering filters with the X3A. We used H.E.L.P (High Efficiency Low Pressure) technology to address a new group of pollutants.

2017 saw the expansion of the X-tractor series with the X3M manual dewatering filter for higher flows and enhanced reusability.

2017 also saw the first of the IIoT (Industrial Internet of Things) line of products to wirelessly connect to your sensors via over 300 cellular carriers worldwide. This new line started by connecting the ASWDS and the X3A but is quickly expanding to most any type of sensor.

2020 was a big year. After 33 years in Huntington Beach, California, we moved to the middle of the country for better customer support. Mineral Wells, Texas, where the history and water run deep, is now our new home.
